Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy describes the circumstances in which SALK AI PRIVATE LIMITED ("SALK AI") offers refunds for paid subscriptions to AIReel and explains how you can cancel.
1. Nature of the Service
AIReel is a digital, subscription-based software-as-a-service. Each paid plan provides immediate, on-demand access to AI generations, publishing automation and other compute-backed features. Costs for these features are incurred by us in real time as you use the Service.
2. Cancellations
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by writing to support@aireel.co.
- On cancellation, your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period (annual or otherwise). It will not auto-renew for the next period.
- Cancellation does not by itself entitle you to a refund of fees already paid.
3. Refund eligibility
Given the digital nature of the Service and the costs incurred for each generation, our default position is that fees are non-refundable. However, we will consider refund requests on a good-faith basis in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate or accidental payment: if you were charged more than once for the same subscription or charged in error, we will refund the duplicate amount in full.
- Failed activation: if you paid for a subscription but, due to a verified technical fault on our side, were unable to access the Service for a continuous period of more than seventy-two (72) hours within the first seven (7) days, and our team was unable to restore access, we will refund the unused portion on a pro-rata basis.
- Unauthorised payment: if a charge was made on your account without your authorisation and you notify us within seven (7) days, we will investigate and, if confirmed, refund the unauthorised amount.
4. Refund exclusions
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- You changed your mind after paying or no longer wish to use the Service;
- You did not use, or under-used, the generation quota or publishing features included in your plan;
- Your account was suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy;
- A connected third-party platform (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook) restricted, removed or banned your content or account;
- Outputs of the AI did not meet a subjective creative expectation, or did not perform as you hoped on social media;
- Promotional credits, discounts or trial generations are converted to cash.
5. How to request a refund
- Email support@aireel.co from the email address registered on your account, within seven (7) days of the charge.
- Include your full name, registered email, payment date, payment reference (Razorpay/transaction ID) and the reason for the request.
- We will acknowledge your request within two (2) business days and aim to provide a decision within seven (7) business days.
6. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Once processed by us, settlement typically takes:
- 5 to 10 business days for cards, UPI and net banking via Razorpay (India);
- 5 to 15 business days for international card refunds;
- Actual credit to your account depends on your bank or card issuer.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer. Chargebacks raised in respect of fees that are properly due under our Terms may be contested by us with evidence of usage and agreement to these policies.
